This amazing Virginia wedding is everything! The flowers are stunning. The color palette is rich and perfect for fall. And we love all the little details.

‘When I first met Jessie and her mom, our initial 30-minute meeting turned into a 2 hour heart-to-heart. I explained to Jessie that I like to personally connect with all of my clients, and make lifelong friendships with my brides!!! And after that, we became so close. Jessie actually began personally training me, and I photographed her bridal shower, her bridal photos, and her family portraits. They have watched my son while photographing other events, and we’ve been invited to their family holiday parties!
I think the most touching thing to come out of this, was the invitation I got in the mail for her wedding. Jessie & Scott sent the full invitation suite, which most couples normally do before their wedding to have it saved for their detail shots. Only, she was legitimately inviting my family to the wedding! My son and my husband were formally invited, and I was not only the photographer, but also a guest at their wedding. After my coverage ended, they strongly advised me to have fun on the dance floor and I even got to slow dance with my hubby for the first time since we eloped! Of course, even though their coverage ended, I kept shooting. They were more than just clients, they had become family. And that is what I consider so special about this job.
I still talk to Jessie almost every day, and I’m still in contact with her family as well! In fact, I’m photographing her brother and his girlfriend this fall! And all of this is because of my photography business. Without it, I wouldn’t have met this amazing family, and I am SO GRATEFUL!’
