‘Jeremy & Emily live in Colorado but were visiting San Diego for a work related event. Jeremy knew he wanted to propose to Emily in San Diego because it’s where her late grandmother lived and it’s very special to Emily. He reached out to me on Instagram using his dog’s account for secrecy [what an awesome idea!] and planned to propose on their 1.5 year anniversary. We communicated a ton leading up to their trip to plan the location, the surprise, and the mini engagement session following. Unfortunately, on the day of, Emily wasn’t feeling well, and Jeremy planned to cancel. Luckily, we were able to rearrange our schedules in order to make it work the following day! We had a gorgeous sunset and Emily was totally surprised and thrilled to say yes to his proposal. Afterwards, we all had a blast with the portraits!’
