Thoughts from the bride about her wedding day:
‘My wedding day is one I’ve dreamed of since I was a little girl. It was beyond perfect. The planning, dress, photography, venue, and even down to the smallest detail was everything I wanted! I am so blessed with all the helping hands that helped make it my dream day.’
A few tips from the bride:
‘One thing I loved about my wedding day was just having everyone important to my husband and I there to support us. They were always there to lend a helping hand when needed. I recommend to any couples getting married to make sure they have a master and mistress of ceremony. It doesn’t seem like they make a huge difference, but they definitely do! Leading up to the wedding day I knew photos were very important to me, so we decided to do a first look before the ceremony so we had time for more photos. This was probably the best decision we made. Huge recommendation and I loved it! It was a special moment just for us before the crazy busy day begins.’
We love the soft tones of the dresses combined with classic dark tuxedos in this bridal party style.
The sunshine, the veil, the flowers, the beautiful bride – this is so dreamy!
JUST MARRIED!
The Bride’s Planning Experience:
‘My mom and I love planning parties and events, so when the wedding came along, we were right on it. We had the venue booked almost a year before the wedding day. Many things fell in place over time. My dress was purchased from a lady found on Facebook who owns a bridal boutique right out of her home! The photographer was an easy pick. My husband and I are blessed with an awesome aunt who is a photographer and runs her own business called Hetler Photography LLC. Another one of my husband’s aunts is a hair and makeup artist and owns a salon called Sarenade Salon. Both the photography and my hair and makeup was very important to me on my wedding day, so knowing I didn’t have to worry about both of these huge things took a lot of stress off my shoulders. Going on about having a family that is so helpful, my husband’s grandma also makes wedding cakes. This was so wonderful! Most of what was left was the decorations and flowers. We ended up choosing all real flowers for the wedding because it gave everything the light and airy feeling I was going for. The flower shop we ordered from was a local small-town shop called Newaygo Floral. All the rest of the decorations were hand made either by myself or family friends.’
How adorable is this?! We love these pretty flower girl dresses.
From the bride:
‘One thing I can say is that if you’re getting married and overwhelmed by everything that has to get done, just remember the wedding is only one day, your marriage is the rest of your life. Enjoy the wedding planning and pamper yourself a little, it’s supposed to be fun!’
