“This session was all kinds of amazing! Planning a styled session has been a dream of mine for years – and it was EVERYTHING that I hoped it would be. When I started coming up with the concept, I knew 3 things – 1. I wanted to plan a shoot with a darker aesthetic – a shoot that would match my [moody] editing style, and something that was a bit different from others that I had seen, 2. I really REALLY wanted teal taper candles and vintage glassware, and 3. I wanted the flowers to be bold, earthy, and organic – with pretty boho vibes (which Mitten Floral nailed!). Who doesn’t love lots of greenery, right?!
So lots of shopping trips, chats with other vendors, a bit of self doubt, lots of work, and tons of excitement later – here we are! It all came together beautifully. Being able to put this post together for you to see makes me feel so accomplished. Ten years into the photography game, I finally got to tackle one of my goals. It. Feels. Amazing!”
